For the past nine years, the Black Joy Parade has taken over the streets of Downtown Oakland in celebration of Black History Month. This annual festival provides an energetic and inviting space for the Bay Area’s diverse community to gather and celebrate the vibrant culture and the immeasurable contributions of Black people, past, present, and future.
